As the need for a strong educational background continues to grow, more and more parents are looking for ways to become more involved in the classroom process. Unfortunately, the traditional educational system often makes the classroom and educational process less than transparent for parents as they not be able to get the information needed to stay on top of their kid’s education.

While the educational process has been hard to follow for some parents, a new application that has increased in usage dramatically over the past few years has brought an incredible amount of communication and transparency to the classroom. The latest application, which is called Class Dojo, is a tech app that can be accessed by any teacher, student, or parent in the world. The application has the goal of brining teachers, parents, and students closer together in an effort to ensure that everyone is aware of what is going on in the classroom on a daily basis.

All parties of the classroom on a regular basis can use the application. Teachers can use ClassDojo to post schedules and syllabuses, email parents, provide updates of what is going on, and give suggestions of how students and parents could continue the education from home. Parents can use the application to email teachers, read about what their kids are doing each day, and check grades and test scores. Students can use the application as a safe social network, to check their schedule, and even get help with homework.

The usage of ClassDojo has continued to increase dramatically over the past few years. It is estimated that over half of schools use Class Dojo, or a similar application and that the number of users will increase exponentially in the future. Because of the high usage and future demand, the application has received a lot of interest from investors. ClassDojo recently closed on a $21 million venture capital cash infusion, which will help them to further develop the application, market to a wider audience, and find other useful ways to enhance the classroom experience. Thus far, the company has completed a number of incubator programs and has raised over $31 million.
